12z WED models support the Big Midwest Low/ snow WHAT ABOIUT 1ST SECS 12/4-5???

busy moving in today...but 12z NAM and GFS bomb STL MO western ILL and ORD with good heavy snows.... and makes me look good

6'' seem likely could be more ( up to 12 inches) but for one its warm now and transitioning to cold and the ground will be wet.... Big winners QUINCY ILL along with GALESBURG ILL JACKSONSVILLE ILL PEORIA ILL into DeKALB JOILET and maybe Chicago

12z GFS show arctic blast #2 much like the 0Z ecmwf did at DEC 6-7
NOTE THE 1044 HIGH

THE 12Z AT 120 hrs shows wave development off NC coast... model might be too flat so it could be closet and does bare watching

lastly yes thanks for all the great comments about this blog.... as to the question why couldnt I be like this at eastern?

two reasons one I am not trolled here.... so I dont have anything to respond TO.... and second maybe the question should be why couldnt eastern be more lke this blog with respect to me?

Too much baby crap and 15 yr old kids running off their mouths at eastern (Although I never understood why you even bothered to reply to such drivel)...while Eastern is a good forum, there is too little control on people that just post garbage.

Looking better all the time DT! Seems like the ORD call might just well pan out for you. Any thoughts on NNE?

    DT -

Do you see any snows resulting from backside or secondary development in the ski country of Northenr New England with the Friday system? NWS BTV went so far as to issue a SWS yesterday when models were trending east, though that might look premature at this point.

Not that you have time with your move, but you thinking of doing some snow total calls? Always appreciated your maps!

Congrats on your early call, it looks like you will be correct, again.

In my opinion, you were the most talented of the mets posting at eastern.

Forget Eastern. Your memory still lives on there, people reference your work, etc. I have not trolled you at all but I have voiced my displeasure with your attacks on others that I thought were really over the line.

Bottom line: That's over and done. This IS better for you and for all who think you know your stuff. There were/are some idiots at Eastern who just lived to provoke you. This one way medium is perfect.

    Thanks for your work!

why respond to some 14 yr old whose only purposeis to get snow in his backyard...that's all you get at Eastern. That's what drove JB away from those sites years ago...

Your right about your feelings toward eastern, too much sniping and weannie posts, Ji even wason the verge of maybe banning for comments he made. Not enough good weather posts. Too much bs. Nice to see you open your own blog.Good luck to you on your move and your business;. Hope all is well.

I live in Southern New England and all the local tv guys are talking 1st snow on Monday.. Gfs talks it up,but looks like latest Euro is way out to sea?? Large part of my business is snow, but expensive to convert out of landscaping to snow removal for nothing.... any thoughts.
